Good Morning Port Potomac Residents,

Below is a weekly update regarding Port Potomac HOA:

Clubhouse:

CURRENT UPDATE:

Plumbers on site doing demo and relocating line sets

Electricians on site starting demo and re-wiring

Framing contractors on site doing demo and working on the TV Niche and grab bar blocking

Electric, plumbing and Sprinkler permits have been obtained

Submitted estimate for Painting Pool Ceiling

Working on Tile estimate for locker room

Submittal samples sent to date have been reviewed and have responses.

 

Anticipation for Next Week:

Plumbing, Electrician and Framing contractors to continue

Fire protection contractors to start

Finalizing remaining submittals

 

A construction schedule has been received  from RESCON, the  completion date for the rebuild is the end of November. This date does not include the repairs needed in the men’s and women’s locker rooms. Lush will still need to add their finishing touches  as well. Once construction starts to really rock and roll we should have a better date as to when the clubhouse will fully reopen. 

 

Giveaways:

Today at 5 PM in the clubhouse parking there is a storage unit with lots of giveaways inside. There are several toilets, light fixtures and cabinets. If you can use any of these items please stop by the storage unit. If anyone has extra time and would like to volunteer to assist Allen, the Board President, please meet at the storage unit.

Keep social distancing in mind as well.

 

Facilities and Grounds Committee:

Yesterday a few Board Members and the Facilities and Grounds Committee members, walked the dog park area, around the clubhouse to look at lighting and safety concerns around the clubhouse and erosion on Jetty Loop, near the retaining walls. We hope to receive proposals from BrightView Landscaping soon to address some of the concerns in the listed areas.

The committee is seeking volunteers, please reach out to the management team if you are interested in joining the committee.

 

Covenant’s Committee Meeting:

The Covenant’s Committee meeting will be held on Wednesday, July 15 at 7 PM via webex, meeting information is below.
