Good afternoon,
Below is the weekly update for Port Potomac HOA.
 
Electricians are on-site installing emergency lights and interior lights throughout the clubhouse. 
Flooring has been installed in the fitness center. 
The plumbers have installed toilets and sinks in the upstairs restrooms and will continue working in the locker room restrooms.
Nerical the Audio/Visual vendor has installed most of the speakers in the clubhouse.
The gas heaters on the balcony are now wired.
Next is flooring in the great room and management offices, also installation of the drop ceiling in the fitness center.

Reminders:
Basketball backboards and rims attached to homes or garages are not permitted. A basketball backboard may be located on a permanent pole in the driveway of a single-family home Lot, which is 70 feet wide or wider. The equipment must be installed on the side of the driveway such that loose balls from missed shots fall into the yard of the applicant, rather than the yard owned by an adjacent neighbor. Consideration will be given to the configuration of the driveway and proximity of the equipment to the street. No play lines may be painted on the driveway. Basketball play is limited to daylight hours and street play is prohibited.
 
Temporary or portable play and sports equipment, including but not limited to plastic playhouses, small sliding boards, sand boxes, and basketball goals, do not require an application.   Games and play are not to extend into the streets and alleyways. Up to two (2) of these types of items may be stored in the rear yard only when not in use, provided that they are well maintained. However, any temporary/portable play equipment beyond two (2) must be stored out of sight when not in use.
 
Fall Harvest Vendor Fair and Community Yard Sale
The Port Potomac HOA will host 2021 Fall Harvest Vendor Fair and Community Yard Sale on Saturday, November 20th from 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
There will be 1 parking space per resident/community yard sale, and you will need to be in your space by 6:30 AM, afterwards the parking lot will be closed. Also, you will need to RSVP for this event, no later than November 12th if you are setting up for the Community yard sale, until spaces are filled.   
All Vendors are welcome, space will be limited and first come first serve. (Vendors do not need to be members of the community)
Residents must register for a space for community yard sale no later than November 12, Residents may conduct yard sale at their residents/garage.
Please come on out and enjoy yourselves while making money!

2021 Annual Meeting
The 2021 Annual Meeting is scheduled for December 7, 2021, at 7 PM, registration will begin at 6:30 PM. The Annual Meeting will be held in person and via WebEx. Meeting location is the Ferlazzo Building (Cafeteria), 15941 Donald Curtis Dr, Woodbridge, VA 22191. The online voting platform will be used. You will receive an email from EZVote on Monday, November 15th to begin voting. Please please vote. 
 
The 2021 Annual Meeting Notice/2022 Approved Budget was mailed out to homeowners yesterday. Please see the attached notice.
 
The Board of Directors approved the Revised Parking Policy. Please see the attached Parking Policy. Please file a copy of the revised policy with your records.
