6.28.2019 Port Potomac News and Updates
Posted on Jun 28th, 2019
Port Potomac Residents,
We have a few Updates for you today.
Locker Room Permit Application. If you attended the Special Meeting last night, Lush Interior Designs announced that they will be submitting the Locker room repair permits to Prince William County on Monday. The new application takes into account updates and changes required by the County. Probably the most involved change is the County’s requirement that the electrical panel, wiring and fixtures in the locker rooms and indoor pool all need to be replaced. The electrical inspection and engineering delayed submitting for the permit but is finally complete.
Clubhouse Repair/Remodel Preliminary Design Choices. Also, at the Special Meeting last night Lush Interior Design submitted preliminary design option for approval. After reviewing the options, the Board chose a preliminary floor plan, color scheme and general furniture layout. The chosen design board will be available for your review at the July 16, 2019 Board meeting. Or you may stop by the office trailer and review the design boards during normal business hours.
Community Fitness Hike. Attached is a flyer concerning a community fitness hike organized by the Port Potomac Fitness Director. The hike will be 7 miles long, through the Fountainhead State Park in Occoquan. The date is Friday, July 12, 2019 at 9:30 PM. Meeting location is the Port Potomac Pavilion.
4th July Trash Schedule. Due to the 4th of July Holiday, Patriot Trash Services will be moving the normal Thursday pickup to Friday. This includes both trash and recycling.
