A Note to Port Potomac HOA Parents

Parents:
While many of you are able to stay home and kids are out of school, this minimizes activities to keep little ones (and big ones) occupied and entertained. An idea to keep your minds challenged is Lunch Doodle with your little ones. https://www.kennedy-center.org/education/mo-willems/
The exhibits vary, but many include detailed slideshows with information about the works and the artists, as well as video footage. Most also offer a “street view” option, so you can peruse the museums and galleries themselves. You can access the virtual collections via your computer or the Google Art & Culture app.
While not affiliated with Google, the George Washington University Museum and the Textile Museum have also made their collections available online, and you can browse more than 5,000 pieces of handmade textile art from all over the world without leaving home.
The GREAT OUTDOORS – getting out and getting some fresh air is always therapeutic. Take a break, go for a walk or a hike, just remember a smile and hello from a distance is sufficient when passing others on the trail. Playgrounds should be avoided. We recommend if you do use the playgrounds or other amities, you may bring your own sanitizing wipes prior to and after use. Being in the fresh air does not put you at risk and may even boost your mood!
